Welcome to the San Diego Police Canine Association

With the generous donations made to the S.D.P.C.A. we assist the canine unit with the purchasing of nonessential non budgeted items.

Some of the areas identified as nonessential items are:

• Kennel and Dog House for retired dogs
• Veterinary Care for retired dogs
• Improvement of the kennel facility
• Improvement of the training field
• Replace worn out agility equipment

Some donors have expressed interest in donating money for the purchase of new police dogs for the canine unit.  We do not actively pursue donations for that purpose as police dogs are a budgeted item.  If you are interested in donating for that purpose though, we can put you in contact with the proper people.
